One person. No institution behind the curtain.
Sweden, clearly. is a small independent civic-information project run by one person who also has a full-time day job. There is no newsroom, support department, legal team, product team or hidden organisation behind it.
The project exists because Swedish public information is often very good, but understanding which authority decides what, which page matters, and what Swedish administrative words actually mean can be unnecessarily difficult if you did not grow up with the system.
The practical promise: make the first 80% easier to understand, show the source, and let the official source have the final word.
What this project is — and is not

Plain-language explanations, small tools, source links and practical context.
An authority
It cannot decide cases, interpret your individual legal situation or replace official information.
Independent
No party affiliation, no government assignment and no commercial sponsor.
A service desk
Messages are welcome, but replies and update times are not guaranteed.
A deliberately small project
Because this is maintained around a full-time job, the project follows a simple rule: small, useful and maintainable beats ambitious and abandoned.
That is why the sites use static files wherever possible, avoid accounts by default, avoid analytics and advertising, and prefer official links over recreating entire government databases.
There is no service-level agreement. A message may be answered quickly, slowly, or not at all. Time-sensitive factual errors and security issues are prioritised over feature requests.

Enough infrastructure
Static first. No database merely because databases exist. Fewer moving parts means more time for useful content.
Show your sources
The project is inspired by Sweden’s strong culture of public information and openness — without pretending to have the legal status of a public authority.
Make it usable
Keyboard, contrast, zoom, reduced motion and plain language matter more than decorative complexity.

Funding and conflicts
At the time of this review, the project is non-commercial: no advertising, paid political content, affiliate links or sponsored editorial coverage.
If funding, sponsorship, donations or commercial relationships are introduced later, they should be disclosed clearly before they can influence trust in the content.
